[XeTeX] Hoefler Text and Guillemets

If I typeset this:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\usepackage[german]{babel}
\setmainfont{Hoefler Text}

\begin{document}

\emph{›Fuß‹}

\end{document}

I get the expected result, I think:
