[XeTeX] Posters in Xe(La)TeX

Hi,

I would like to make an A0 size poster using Xe(La)TeX: basically a
series of Kanji charts to help me along my learning of Japanese.  I
have come across some LaTeX classes (e.g., a0poster, sciposter,
poster-mac,...) but in a 2005 thread in the OSX TeX mailing list it
was mentioned that they have problems generating PDF directly.  Can
someone on the list suggest a relevant class for me to try?
