I get the following errors in my log file when I process the
following minimal document:
LaTeX Font Warning: Encoding `OT1' has changed to `U' for symbol font
(Font) `operators' in the math version `normal' on input
line 11.
LaTeX Font Warning: Encoding `OT1' has changed to `U' for symbol font
(Font) `operators' in the math version `bold' on input
line 11.
%!TEX TS-program = xelatex
%!TEX encoding = UTF-8 Unicode
\documentclass{minimal}
\usepackage{fontspec}
%\usepackage{xunicode}
\setromanfont{Zapfino}
%\renewcommand\encodingdefault{U}
\begin{document}
Zapfino
\end{document}%
I tried the commented out commands which were suggested at some
point, but they don't affect this.
The warning seems harmless, but I'm trying to wrap this up in a
documentclass, so want to not generate spurious errors.
I did up-date to the latest XeTeX from scripts.sil.org/xetex (not
using the spiffy pre-release JK hooked me up with 'cause a capacitor
or something went ``pop'' on my G5 and it's at the Apple Store
waiting to be picked up after replacing the main logic board).
