Oh yes, the example I just provided is called w/ documentclass as
follows:
\documentclass[dvips, 9pt, twoside, openany, twocolumn, showtrims]
{memoir}
(the options you'd be needing specifically would be dvips and
showtrims I believe, though perhaps now dvipdfm would be better than
dvips?)
