Right... but xetex defaults to reading input files as UTF-8, and
therefore misinterprets this.
The simplest workaround for now is to disable Hungarian in the LaTeX
language.dat configuration file, assuming you don't really need to
use it. If you *do* need it, then it's necessary to deal with the
encoding issue.
As part of integrating xetex with TeX Live, I'm working on a proper
solution to this, but for now it's a bit of a hassle; sorry!
