OK.... I have updated the XeTeX 0.995 packages for OS X (without
changing the version number, again), and I believe this may help. (At
least, it does in initial tests here.)
Stephen, Peter, or others who've been seeing this problem, please try
reinstalling from the "rev.C" .dmg at http://scripts.sil.org/
xetex_download or the newly-updated 2006-08-18 version of the i-
Package, and let me know if it works now.
