Is XeTeX aware of category codes at this point ?

That is, do these give the same result, or different ?

\catcode`\: 11  % change : to become a letter
\catcode`\. 11  % change . to become a letter
\testA="Savoye LET Plain:1.0" at 20.0pt
{\testA  testing letter }

\catcode`\: 12 % change : back to being an 'other' character
\catcode`\. 12 % change . back to being an 'other' character
\testB="Savoye LET Plain:1.0" at 20.0pt
{\testB  testing other }

It would be a natural TeX-like way to have these being different,
but I don't have the font to run such a test myself.

(Hmm; maybe the digits 0 and 1 need to have changed cat-codes too.)

Hope this helps,

	Ross
