[XeTeX] table* environment does not respect font color

Hi,

I am experiencing something strange. I have a document with a number
of fonts defined using, e.g.,

\newfontinstance\romajifont[Color=AA0000]{Hoefler Text}

This font appear in red colour, as one would expect, everywhere in
the document _except  inside a table*, where it appears in black,
which is not even the default:

\setromanfont[Color=000088,Diacritics=Show,Mapping=tex-text]{Hoefler Text}

I'm running XeTeX, Version 3.141592-2.2-0.99 (Web2C 7.5.3).

My headers look like:

\documentclass[10pt]{article}
\usepackage{a4wide}
\usepackage{multicol}
\usepackage{color}
\usepackage{array}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\usepackage{xunicode}

followed by some font definitions. I'm happy to give more details,
should they be necessary.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Many thanks in advance,

José
