[XeTeX] dotless i accented w/ macron in utf8accents.sty?

Hi,

The character \={\i} is missing from my PDF output
with utf8accents.sty in the preamble.

Is there another way to input this?

How might it be restored?

I am using Gerben's dist, XeLaTeX, and TexShoP.

No error messages appear in the console.

Saw the "Characters missing from PDF output" on the UK
TeX FAQ. But this was not helpful to me.
