Hello all -

After the summer lull, a new build of XeTeX is now available: version
0.85.

This is a bug-fix release intended to address errors that have been
reported in PDF generation; in particular, it includes a workaround for
the CoreGraphics problem that can result in trashed fonts on the pages
after a \XeTeXpdffile inclusion; the workaround of pre-processing the
included PDF with Ghostscript should no longer be needed.

It also should fix the problem where transformation \special commands
could make following text disappear.

The \fontname primitive has been enhanced so that it adds quote marks
around the font name where necessary; this should solve issues that
have been reported with certain "ssub" font substitution declarations
in LaTeX.

In addition, the Arabic OpenType support has been updated, as it was
not correctly supporting newer extended-Arabic characters in the
Unicode standard.

The new version is available at
	http://scripts.sil.org/xetex
as well as via my i-Directory in i-Installer.

As always, feedback is welcome.

Jonathan
