[XeTeX] Odd errors with xelatex

I get these errors when I try to use xelatex:

No pages of output.
Transcript written on xelatex.log.' instead of a filename.
I can't find the format file `xelatex.xfmt'!

I could not find xelatex.xfmt so re-ran the installer. This is from the 
i-installer:
