Hi Robert

This is because (whether correct or not) "we've" invented the OSX 
encoding in order to differentiate it from "U"nknown.

Put this somewhere appropriate:
(the same folder as the other XeTeX stuff will do fine for now)

Note that this will also invoke the utf8accents package, since you can 
get incorrect behaviour without it. (For example, \$ will not print in 
the current font, but rather CMR.)
