MOTION

UKTUG committee resolves to establish a sub-committee for the purpose 
of
administering travel bursaries that will improve attendance at the
proposed Autumn meeting.

The sub-committee will consist of the treasurer and such other 
committee members who consent to join.

The quorum will be the the treasurer alone, or a majority of the 
committee. For clarity, the committee may co-opt non-committee 
members provided that the committee members  constitute a majority of 
the
sub-committee members.

The committee will disburse funds to individuals who would not 
otherwise be able to attend the Autumn meeting
or who would experience financial difficulty in doing so.

There will be a limit of £75 per individual.

There will be an overall limit of £900 in bursaries for the Autumn 
meeting.

The bursaries will be awarded at the absolute discretion of the sub-
committee,  which will have regard to 

 the order of application for a bursary

 the degree of financial hardship attendance at the Autumn meeting 
would entail

 the actual expenses of travel and where relevant, accommodation 
incurred.

 such other factors as the committee may decide.
