[UK-TUG] HESTEM Accessible learning resources in mathematics

Dear Member,

Committee member Jonathan Fine will be speaking at a workshop taking
place in early January that may be of interested to members:

> learning resources for mathematical subjects. Talks will be of a
> technical nature and will assume knowledge of at least (but not
> limited to) LaTeX, MathML and the typical authoring and content
> production practices of the mathematics community.

Jonathan has suggested that UK-TUG may want to provide financial support
(travel, accommodation and meals) for participants at a weekend
programming sprint on production of accessible resources for
mathematical subjects. Feedback from members on this suggestion is very
welcome, as are any additional ideas for events which UK-TUG can help to
enable.
