[Tugindia] How to indent the first line of a section.

Dear Mr. S.Venkataraman (and friends),
Thank you very much for your reply. I do not set any
\parindent in the preamble, it is as default. However the command \par
works fine from the second paragraph (line) but the problem is only for the
first paragraph of a section where I cannot indent the first line even with
any command like that suggested by you. I need further help from any body
in this regard. Thanking you (and all)

When I try to indent the first line of a section in a Latex
document by the command \par, it does not work but it works nicely in a
AMS-Latex document. Please help me to start a paragraph in the first line
