[Tugindia] Reduction on ps2pdf

On converting ps2pdf, the matter of ps file was found reduces by about
4% on pdf file  when seen on printout. i.e a  line 128mm becomes 122mm
and if total text matter is  25cm, it reduces to 24cm. It appears that
ps  file  gives  correct  representation of  sizes,  while  pdf  gives
incorrect (by reducing).

Is there any option or calibration?
