A few days back you were extremely kind enough to advice me from
where to download winshell .I am grateful to you for that. I
downloaded winshell (winshell.exe & Readme) from
ftp://ftp.dante.de/tex-archive/systems/win32/winshell
I am however unable to make LaTeX files, .dvi , .ps files and
also see the ghostview .So I can't take print outs of my works.
I suspect I didnot download all necessary files about which I
seek your advice & suggestion.
Winshell is only a front end to create TeX document, run the
compiler and view the output. But you need to install a complete TeX
system with all supporting packages, fonts, previewer, etc. If not
you cant compile your TeX sources to create dvi or pdf to view and
print.
Downloading the whole TeX tree from CTAN might be a horrendous task.
You might buy a TeXLive CDROM from TUGIndia and install in your
system.
