Howdy,

Same here. Basic use works as before: tlmgr update + 19 packages. I also don't put fonts in my personal tree. Would setting the Preference and waiting for a font update so that `updmap -usr` would get used and check TEXMFVAR be sufficient?

PS: this is on both El Capitan and Sierra. I no longer have a Yosemite system.
