[tlu] Yosemite workaround

Subsequent problem: when the self-built TLU did that, it was attempting to update packages, and based on the above log I imagine it didn’t. But now, normal release TLU seems to consider the updates were applied correctly.

Is there a way to solve that, normally to force TLU to apply the updates? Based on /usr/local/texlive/2014/texmf-var/web2c/tlmgr.log, I think the updates were
