Hi Nathan,

By chance, I just added a workaround for this problem a couple
of days ago. Please try the beta at

https://github.com/amaxwell/tlutility/releases/download/1.20b4/TeX.Live.Utility.app-1.20b4.tar.gz

In short, your /etc/paths file now has /usr/local/bin ahead of
/usr/bin, and you probably have an old version of Python in
/usr/local/bin that's being used.

Unfortunately, my version check script isn't detecting that,
for some reason. If you could send me the output of

ls -l /usr/local/bin/py*

that would be helpful.
