The Xcode prompt is due to tlmgr running config.guess to determine what platform it should install for. This is a TeX Live issue, not TLU, but we can probably work around it somehow. You'd get the same prompt by running tlmgr update --list in Terminal, for instance (which is exactly what I did). thanks, Adam
