It does seem safer, but it's up to Martin (Gieseking). I'll forward your

    Here the corresponding ChangeLog entry. I listed you, Karl,
    because you are presumably the person committing them.

Thanks much, but, FYI for the future, the convention is to use the name
of the person who wrote the patch, rather than the mere "release droid"
who did the commit :).
