[tlbuild] Tests failing in texk/mendexk

Hi,

I didn't had the opportunity to test a build with the recent
changes to the source tree following the 2014 release.  Just
tried tnight on NetBSD/amd64 and I got this error with tests in
texk/mendexk:

This is mendex version 2.6f [14-Aug-2009] (utf8.euc) (TeX Live 2014).
Scanning input file ../../../texk/mendexk/tests/foo.idx....done (3 entries accepted, 0 rejected).
3 entries accepted, 0 rejected.

I don't think this is platform specific.  Anybody has the same
error?
