    A question:  I did NOT use --disable-gl, only --disable-gsl and
    --disable-fftw.  How important is gl for arm devices?  Maybe better to
    disable it?

The principal reason to disable gl would be if the resulting shared
library dependencies will not be satisfied on a significant number of
systems.  If you lack hard information (certainly I have none), I would
say, go with your judgement.
