Hi Karl,

I just did a sucessful build for x86_64-linux and got 354 executables
(everything except asy).

BTW: As for TL2011 this was done with libc-2.3.6, this year with gcc-4.5
whereas last year was done with gcc-3.4.6.  Thus I don't know where the
"[tex-live] dvipdfmx on CentOS 5.6 (glibc 2.5)" problem comes from.
The generated dvipdfmx requires just libc.so.6 and libm.so.6 [GLIBC_2.2.5
and GLIBC_2.3], whereas xdvipdfmx requires in addition libfontconfig.so.1
(without additional Version Symbols).  Could it be that CentOS 5.6 has a
libfontconfig.so.1 that requires GLIBC_2.7 not provided by /lib64/libc.so.6?

(The i386-linux build as well as the i386-linux => i386-mingw32 cross
compilation are done as part of my more or less daily development work).
