I am rather tempted to simply no longer support sparc-linux instead of
spending lots more time debugging it.  Unless someone else here has
sparc-linux and wants to try it.  I've never seen any particular
evidence that are any actual users writing documents on sparc-linux (as
opposed to just sysadmins installing it).
