[tlbuild] building TL on SuSE fails

After some ugly system patching of an old linux the TL build finally
worked with --with-fontconfig=/usr/X11R6. The system had an old
version of fontconfig.

The XeTeX trunk needs two tiny patches however (thanks to Harald König
for finding it out). I would be grateful if it could be applied (I
hope that it's ok to attach a small patch to the wrong mailing list
once).
