[tlbuild] Problems building CLISP

On GNU/Linux Kubuntu 9.10 (GCC 4.4.1), building CLISP (as described on
utils/README) fails because it really fails for FFCALL:

make[1]: ingresso nella directory
gcc -g -O2 -I. -I. -c ./minitests.c
/bin/sh ./libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -x none minitests.o
libavcall.la -o minitests
gcc -g -O2 -x none minitests.o -o minitests  ./.libs/libavcall.a
./minitests > minitests.out
LC_ALL=C uniq -u < minitests.out > minitests.output.x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
test '!' -s minitests.output.x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
make[1]: *** [check] Errore 1
make[1]: uscita dalla directory
make: *** [check] Errore 2

checking for callback.h... no
checking whether libffcall is installed... no
configure: line 38396: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu: command not found
configure: error: despite --with-ffcall, FFCALL was not found
  Either call configure without --with-ffcall or do
   mkdir tools; cd tools; prefix=`pwd`/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
   wget http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/libffcall/libffcall-1.10.tar.gz
   tar xfz libffcall-1.10.tar.gz
   cd libffcall-1.10
   ./configure --host=x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu --prefix=${prefix} &&
make && make check && make install
   cd ../..
   ./configure --with-libffcall-prefix=${prefix} dummy msgmerge

Strangely, when I did this on September 2009 (but with K9.04 sigh!) it
worked fine.
