Yeah, that fixed the problem. But I have no idea how to add that to the
build process.

I have tried adding 
	AM_CPPFLAGS=-DHAVE_KPATHSEA
to lcdf-typetools/Makefile.am, no success.

Same with AM_CFLAGS=-DHAVE_KPATHSEA

(only copying what I have seen in other Makefile.am)

I compiled my own by adding
	-DHAVE_KPATHSEA
manually to all lcdf-typetools/*/Makefile in the CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS
definitions. With that I get working binaries using kpathsea.
