A new version of the xz utilities was just released. I updated our files in Build/source/utils, or download directly from http://tukaani.org/xz. Please update the binaries if you built them, and send to me or commit. http://tug.org/texlive/build.html#xz (i386-linux, x86_64-linux, sparc-linux, and win32 have already been done.
