perhaps it'd be worth reporting the issue to whoever is the bibtex8
maintainer. (Hmmm, is there one?)
Not that I know of. Apparently it was originally written (in 1996) by
one Niel Kempson.
However, Yannis just said that he expects to have one of his students
work on it this year. Hope it happens.
