[tlbuild] building / including xz into the build process

Folks,

I compiled the version at

	www.tug.org/~preining/xz-4.999.8beta.tar.gz

in the usual fashion: i386 version compiled on 10.4 machine, ppc  
version compiled on 10.3 machine, the two binaries then lipo'd to give  
a universal binary. This binary is at

	www.uoregon.edu/~koch/universal-xz.tar.gz

The tar file uncompresses to a file named "bin" with 15 items. Please  
let me know if problems surface.
