Hi Hartmut,
I get:

$ ldd luatex
        libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x00002ab4332b6000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00002ab433537000)
        /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00002ab43309a000)
$ ldd pdftex
        libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x00002b2ecdb2d000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00002b2ecddae000)
        /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00002b2ecd911000)

And there is no "linux-vdso.so*" on my system.

Regards,
  Reinhard
