I was happy to report that everything (including xindy) compiled right
away last week. I don't know if this was fly-by-night or if it is due
to the recent changes: I can't get xindy to build anymore with today's
checkout. I first get an error building clisp:

Welcome to GNU CLISP 2.45 (2008-05-15) <http://clisp.cons.org/>

And then, predictably, an error building xindy:

configure: error: clisp is not executable: /home/tas/clisp/clisp-build/
clisp
configure: error: ../../../utils/xindy/configure failed for utils/xindy

Can anybody help?

Thanks

Thomas
