[texworks] inputenc error

Hello Everyone,

Just upgraded my computer and Miktex (using pdfLatex). A document that previously gave no problems now returns this error;

! Package inputenc Error: Invalid UTF-8 byte "96.

and I don't know how to fix it (or even what this is). Please  help!
