[texworks] Figures not showing in pdf preview

Hi all,

I am using TeXworks to prepare a paper. I had it installed in my personal
laptop
and all worked fine.

My personal laptop is no longer booting and I installed Texworks on another
laptop to compile the .tex file.

Npw when I run Texworks (pdfLateX+MakeIndex+BibTex) the figures do not
appear in the pdf preview (showed by the TeXworks window) but they do appear
when I see the produced pdf file through Adobe Reader.

What may be the cause for this?
