I am totally blind and use screen-to-speech software. I have typeset some equations in LaTeX, and suspect there may be errors, but when I try to compile, ctrl+t, nothing speaks to me and I can’t access the other screens mentioned in the manual. There must be errors because the thing gives me a “still processing” message when I lose patience and try to close it. I’ve gone away and come back several hours later and it’s still stuck. Are there any settings I can change to fix this problem? By the way, even this message screen doesn’t speak while I’m typing, which is not normal.
