Unfortunately, AFAIK, this problem still persists. The thing is that I
have no Mac to test patches on, and nobody has replied to my proposed
patch at the issue report mentioned above, yet.
That said, there are a couple of possibilities, assuming the patch is
found to work. People providing Mac OS builds could use it when building
(technically, this would no longer be a mint 0.4.6 build then, but it's
not uncommon to apply platform-specific patches). I could also do a
0.4.7 release (for that I'd like to wait a couple of days, though, to
see if anything else pops up that has gone unnoticed so far).
