[texworks] "enable plug-in scripting" disabled

Hi,
I'm using texworks Version 0.5 r.1357 (launchpad)
I want to enable lua scripts but I can't.
The lua-script package is already installed on my system (ubuntu 12.04
amd64) but in the script dialog window, the "enable plug-in scripting" is
gray. I can't check it.
I installed the python package but there is no change.

What can I do ? Thanks
