[texworks] TeXworks 0.4.5 released

This seems like TeXworks did not find the old configuration directory.
Could it be by any chance that you previously used TeXworks as supplied
by your distro (e.g., TeXLive or MiKTeX)? In that case, they probably
shipped customized versions where the paths are different. If that is
the case, I guess it's best to wait for your distro to upgrade TeXlive.

That's right, there isn't. The main reason is that there is no
standardized way of how new binaries are published (e.g., Windows
binaries are uploaded to Google, Mac binaries as well (although usually
with some time delay as I can't build them myself), while Linux OSes use
a totally different mechanism).
