Howdy,

I'm not sure what you mean by ``clone'' but how did you transfer the TeX distribution? Did you use Migration Assistant? then there are possible symbolic links that are messed up. Please run

which pdflatex

as well as

ls -al /usr

and

ls -al /usr/texbin

in Terminal and let us know what those commands return.

You might want to download and install the latest MacTeX which installs TeX Live 2012. You can get it at <http://www.tug.org/mactex/>. If you go that way you can update the installed TeX Live to have the latest versions of packages, etc., by using the TeX Live Utility found in /Applications/TeX.

Finally, you say you cloned the Users folder but it appears that TeXworks is in a different folder on the two machines. That shouldn't cause a problem but I don't understand how that happened if you cloned the folders.
