I'm not sure if I fully understand the problem. ATM, Tw remembers the 
last folder from which a file was opened, and (separately) the last 
folder a file was saved to. These are global, i.e., the same folders are 
used in all open windows. However, the assumption is that, when working 
on one project at a time, this should work reasonably well.
Could you describe in more detail a case where this approach doesn't 
work for you?
