[texworks] inconsistens because of help-files?

Yes, well, as I said before, I prefer to think about what
I am doing and to be in control of what I am doing, so
clearly a script that performs some unknown sequence of
operations on all files in the current directory with
a ".tex" extension is not for me !
I shall now draw my experiments with LaTeXMK to a close
and go back to my tried-and-tested method of carrying
out each step individually, on a known file and using
a known program.
