Hi Sivasubramani,

Stefan Löffler <https://launchpad.net/~st.loeffler> maintains a ppa
launchpad TeXworks repository for Ubuntu under,
https://launchpad.net/~texworks

Stable, and the latest development, releases are generally found there.

I think three is one available from weeks ago, so that is pretty up to date!
