No, you don't need to do anything with Tw itself. You only need to edit
the script files (found in your Tw resource folder - you can use
"Scripts -> Scripting TeXworks -> Show Scripts Folder" to find it).
Afterwards, you'd need to restart Tw or run the "Reload Script List"
command from the "Scripts" menu.
