At least on Windows, pretty much every menu entry should have a standard 
keyboard setting. This is not so much an "accelerator" as an 
accessibility issue (try using TeXworks without a mouse!). If you look 
at most applications, the menu's all have an underlined letter for each 
menu and menu entry, showing which key it is. A few are very 
"standardised": Alt-F,S = File-Save in almost everything, for example.
