[texworks] Anyone use something like Flashmode in TeXWorks?

This AppleScript-based Flash Mode, like the Textures software which introduced Flash Mode first, are Mac-specific. I'm not aware of any equivalent functionality on Windows (or any other platform but the Mac for that matter).
Flash mode is the main reason why I'm still using Textures for most of my TeXing, despite the primitive state of the forever beta OS X Textures <http://www.bluesky.com/news/news_frames.html>.
