Well, just a note on this: yes, the Hunspell spell-checker itself  
isn't (La)TeX-aware, but if you have syntax highlighting turned on,  
TeXworks should avoid spell-checking the LaTeX control sequences  
etc... this is controlled by the syntax-highlighting configuration.
