In case the graphics card is involved, my screenshots were with a  
MacBook hence no graphics processor but shared memory from an Intel  
GMA 950 processor.

Tomorrow at work I'll check whether the problem is also present on a  
Mac Pro with proper graphics card (and Snow Leopard too).
