[texworks] how to customize the completion

Sorry to hijack the thread, but does anyone think it would be good to
remove the carriage returns from completions. For Example:

\bite<tab> currently expands to:

\begin{itemize}
\item
|
\end{itemize}

(where the pipe is the cursor position after pressing tab)

I would prefer:

\begin{itemize}
\item |
\end{itemize}

I submitted a patch a few months back for all of these, but it seemed to
be ignored.
